Why your role matters
As the Project & Administration Officer, Global Education Initiatives, you will play a key role within The University Office of Global Affairs (UOGA), contributing to the operational success of the Global Education Initiatives (GEI) portfolio.
About the Role
Operating with a high level of independence and initiative, the position leads and manages the administrative services, governance, project management and stakeholder engagement to deliver Transnational Education (TNE) programs and global Lifelong Learning (GLLL) initiatives in alignment with the University’s Global Strategy.
You will lead and manage high-level administrative, operational, and project support for GEI initiatives, including executive support, governance coordination, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with university and global education policies. Provide expert advice, facilitate communication, and support cross-functional projects aligned with the Global Strategy and lifelong learning, while ensuring discretion, collaboration, and timely delivery of outcomes.
About You
You will be a highly experienced Project Coordinator who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings a flexible, solutions-focused approach. You will have demonstrated high-level administrative, operational, and project support skills with the ability to ensure the smooth delivery of initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with a depth of subsequent relevant experience in project coordination, administration and stakeholder engagement in complex organisational environments, or equivalent experience gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead administrative and operational delivery of initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to tailor messaging across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated range of project management experience and supporting initiatives, with the proven ability to monitor progress, manage risks and ensure successful delivery within agreed timeframes.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to negotiate and collaborate with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to independently manage competing deadlines changing priorities and complex workflows.
- Advanced level of computer literacy, working with a range of computer systems and applications including Outlook and MS Teams.
