The Defence Trailblazer for Concept to Sovereign Capability is a $250 million enterprise powered by UNSW and UoA, with funding from the Australian Government through the Trailblazer Universities Program, as well as university and industry partners. Our mission is to accelerate the commercialisation of research for the Australian Defence Force (ADF), develop education training pathways, fast-track entrepreneurs' ideas to commercialisation, and enhance collaboration between industry, government, and academia.
Reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager, you’ll contribute to the success of the Defence Trailblazer marketing and communications strategy by providing proactive, practical and efficient engagement, communications and administrative support for various content development and engagement activities.

Who you are
You have proven experience in creating content for publication across multiple channels and a sound knowledge of digital communications channels and platforms. The ability to deal with ambiguity and a willingness to support the team's objectives are essential.
You’ll also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail, as well as time management skills, demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, and meet competing deadlines using judgment and initiative.
You should be able to work collaboratively and productively within a team, take initiative, and work independently while managing competing demands. Experience with a range of computer systems and applications, including CMS, is necessary.
An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives, and values, along with knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and a commitment to attending relevant training, are also important.
