Why The Role Matters:
The Work Integrated Learning team supports the development of Faculty initiatives to support and strengthen student engagement programs to positively influence the student experience. This includes identifying, developing and implementing student development opportunities to enhance the student experience and ensure work-readiness. The Work Integrated Learning team is responsible for the placement and professional experience students complete as part of their course requirements.
The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Administrator provides effective administrative support for all Work Integrated Learning courses in the Faculty. This role is a shared support role providing support to all staff and students relating to work placements in accordance with government and University procedures and requirements.
Accountabilities:

- Provide high level administrative support across the Faculty, as directed by the Senior WIL Officer (Team Coordinator). Ensure all functions are completed within advised deadlines in a compliant and timely manner.
- Be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Respond to in-person, telephone and written enquiries and initiate appropriate action as required.
- Provide effective specialist advice relating to administrative guidelines, processes and activities including eligibility and compliance checks prior to placement.
- Undertake administrative duties related to the coordination of WIL courses as required, including tasks associated with Placement Management Systems (InPlace) and Learning Management Systems for attendance, eligibility, results and subsequent documentation.
- Execute the administrative function related to the allocation of placements in the placement management system including allocation of external supervisors and internal liaisons/academics.
- Accurate processing and data entry of Education Teacher Supervision (TSUPP) payments and Social Work Liaison Tutor pay claims.
Skills and Experience:
To be considered you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications with relevant experience and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders and work productively as part of a team.
- Experience or ability to work in a shared support capacity supporting multiple work units with varying service needs and the ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks effectively with the proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders and productively as a team.
- Advanced time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with experience in customer service and the ability to use tact and discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
- Demonstrated attention to detail while consolidating information from different sources with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Capacity to learn and implement new systems and procedures as appropriate.
