The ADA Student Experience team is currently recruiting for the 2025 Student Ambassador team. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional skills while contributing to ADA's Student Experience.

This is a paid, casual position for students from a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs, lived experience, and skills. Customised training is also provided to help you build your professional skills and confidence.

This role will:

  • Participate in the design, delivery, and evaluation of initiatives, providing a student perspective and working alongside peers to solve simple problems and exercise judgement over task sequencing as required.
  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of events, providing students with peer-to-peer engagement and perspectives on university life either in an individual or group setting.
  • Participate in outreach activities on or off campus with the aim to provide prospective and/or students with degree information and a student’s perspective of university life.
  • Welcome guests and visitors to events or meetings and provide general assistance.
  • Support and provide campus tours that provide information about facilities, accommodation, support services and educational experiences.
  • Provide general administrative support e.g., assisting with phone/ email enquiries, workshop and activity development and assisting with basic AV support during events.
  • Actively participate in on-the-job training for relevant duties.
  • Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
