The Indigenous Tuition Program (ITP) is a government funded program specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

The program is co-ordinated by UNSW Faculties in collaboration with Nura Gili Centre for Indigenous Programs at UNSW with a primary objective to enhance and elevate Indigenous success.

Study Assistants are typically senior (3^rd year or above) undergraduate or postgraduate students or recent graduates who have achieved strong academic results in the relevant discipline. Study Assistance  is mostly conducted as one-on-one sessions and can be done in person or online.

Study Assistants must first register their interest on the ITP website www.nuragili.com.au. They will need to upload their CV, Academic Statement and Photo ID. Study Assistants should also Add Units (course codes) for any courses for which they are able to provide study assistance. Students request study assistance for a given course and are then matched with the most suitable Study Assistant who has achieved a credit or above in that course. Study Assistant hours can vary depending on the student’s needs.
