The UNSW Research Strategy Office works with varied stakeholders to initiate, facilitate and secure new national and international research funding bids and Fellowships; and develop ongoing strategies to ensure that UNSW enhances its research profile and increases the level, quality and diversity of research funding.
The Senior Research Development Manager (Biomed) provides strategic advice, assistance and training to researchers to secure health and medicine research funding, and includes high-level interaction with researchers, funding bodies, and potential partners on collaborative research, and with relevant Faculties and researchers across the University.

The role of Senior Research Development Manager (Biomed) reports to the Director, Research Strategy Office and has one direct report.

Who you are
You can demonstrate your contemporary knowledge and experience supporting researchers with the strategic review and preparation of successful major research grant funding proposals in health and medical research, ideally including National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).
