Why your role matters

The Lead Management and Master Data Management (MDM) project is a business program led by the Marketing & Digital Experience area, but also involves significant technical components related to the deployment of a customer data platform (CDP), a Sales CRM, Master Data Management platform as well as associated data integrations.

We are committed to best in-class lead management system (technology, data, processes & target operating model) to manage individual prospects throughout their UNSW experience, from the moment of anonymous engagement up until enrolment into a program.

About the Role:

As the Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for the analysis of business processes and systems, ensuring requirements are accurately captured in JIRA/Backlog, aligned with organisational goals and traceable and will facilitate stakeholder communications and sign-offs on deliverables.

About You:

To be successful you will be a Senior Business Analyst to help shape and deliver the Lead Management Program within the Lead & MDM initiative. You’ll bring a strong consulting background, a focus on continuous improvement, and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and move ideas into action. In this role, you’ll ensure business processes and technology solutions are fit for purpose, lead data mapping and solution design, facilitate workshops, and work closely with the Program Manager to meet project milestones. More specifically you will also need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience with business requirements analysis and business process analysis using the appropriate frameworks.
  • Experience identifying and mapping ‘As Is’ and creating ‘To Be’ business processes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven facilitation skills including workshops with diverse groups including vendor, technical personnel and end users.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills and deliver according to project timeframes.
  • Experience working as Business Analyst in higher education environment within student data domain.
  • Demonstrated experience with marketing technology platforms and Sales CRM systems, with a strong preference for Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with Adobe solutions is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of business processes within a tertiary education environment.
  • Understanding of change management principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying lean six sigma skills. Certification desirable.
  • Certified Practitioner in Business Analysis (IIBA, PMP or equivalent).
