- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Duration: 2-year contract
- Location: Kensington NSW (Hybrid Flexible Working)
Why your role matters
The Academic Calendar Project, led by the Provost’s Office, is driving a major institutional shift from UNSW’s current three-trimester model to a flex-semester academic calendar, scheduled to launch in 2028.
This change will impact over 70,000 students and thousands of staff across the university. It’s a transformational, university-wide initiative that will shape how learning and teaching operate in the future.
As the Transformation and Change Manager (internally titled Change Manager), you will play a pivotal role in enabling teams and business units to successfully adopt and embed the upcoming changes.
You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering change management, transition, and communications strategies that prepare the university for this significant shift. This includes assessing impacts across people, systems, processes, and policies, and ensuring effective engagement, organisational readiness, and business-as-usual transition planning.
You’ll report directly to the Academic Calendar Program Director, working closely with faculties, professional divisions, and a wide network of stakeholders. This role has no direct reports.
