Why your Role Matters:

Join the Safer Communities team at UNSW, part of the Health and Safety Directorate within the Office of Assurance and Integrity, to lead transformative projects focused on gender-based violence prevention, workplace wellbeing, and psychosocial risk management. This role is instrumental in designing and implementing a whole-of-organisation education framework, including its evaluation covering staff and student education, to ensure UNSW meets compliance with the proposed National Higher Education Code and the Sex Discrimination Act (1984).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables with the Project Manager.
  • Review evidence and benchmark practices in gender-based violence prevention across the University.

  • Recommend and design evaluation strategies for current and future education programs.
  • Collaborate with organisational partners to enhance UNSW’s capacity to address gender-based violence.
  • Support compliance with national standards and contribute to safer, more inclusive university policies.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence cultural change and promote wellbeing across UNSW.

About You:

You have a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in developing and evaluating educational frameworks, particularly in tertiary settings. Skilled in synthesising evidence, translating research into practice, and managing projects, you excel at creating actionable recommendations and delivering within timelines.

With strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills, you effectively build relationships and work across organisational levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office, you bring a practical, results-driven approach to creating impactful, evidence-based initiatives.
