Remuneration: Broadband 6/7, Level 6 from $100,354/Level 7 from $110,073 plus 17% super

Why Your Role Matters
Working in a dynamic environment, the Quality Assurance (QA) & Governance Officer is part of the College Governance Team that supports staff and students at UNSW Canberra to achieve quality management standards across quality control processes related to Program and Course offerings (academic). In addition, the Position provides advice and support in relation to governance matters for the Faculty Boards and committees. The outputs of this role will increase efficiency and effectiveness of existing local quality systems and promote productive relationships with University and Defence colleagues, visitors, and students. The QA & Governance Officer Reports to the Quality Assurance & Governance Manager

 

Who You Are (skills and experience): 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications with subsequent relevant experience or relevant competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
  • Sound stakeholder management skills. with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, multiple tasks and competing deadlines, using judgement and initiative.
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated high level commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • Sound understanding and implementation of ISO Quality Management Systems

The successful candidate will be required to undertake pre-employment checks prior to commencement in this role. The checks that will be undertaken are listed in the Position Description.
