- Remuneration: $123k - $138k base (+ 17% Super, leave loading)
- Working rights: Full Australian works rights will be required for the duration of the contract

Why this role matters
This position plays an integral role within Medicine & Health, UNSW, in leading a team of specialists delivering operational and logistical support for clinical teaching within the School of Clinical Medicine across all Clinical Campus / Clinical Discipline(s).
Some key responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and develop the Clinical Teaching Support team, fostering a culture of customer service and collaboration, and ensuring goals and development plans are in place. Ensure regular feedback on progress is constructive and within the University’s timelines.
- Manage the operations of clinical teaching support to ensure the efficient coordination of clinical teaching across the School’s Clinical Campuses and Disciplines.
- Rotate across clinical campuses regularly to establish relationships across the sites and hospitals and to gain understanding of bespoke elements of each Clinical Campus and Discipline.
The role reports to School Manager, School of Clinical Medicine and has direct reports.
Key skills required:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and managing a team with proven ability to motivate and create a positive workplace culture to achieve quality outcomes.
- Proved experience in managing the operations of teaching support, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated capacity to interpret and implement complex policies and procedures.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
- Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Significant experience in developing, delivering and continually improving processes and systems, including project management and change management processes
- Advanced level of computer literacy, working with a range of computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office 365 suite including Teams, One Drive, Power BI, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook and with using UNSW’s enterprise systems.
