The Future Students team has been established to strengthen marketing efforts, ensuring UNSW is the premier destination in the state for local students and the premier destination in the country for internationals.

The Digital Tech Specialist is a technical role, responsible for marketing technology enhancements, particularly across our email marketing and CRM platforms, supporting the planning and implementation of digital marketing activity to maximise lead generation and enrolment conversion for Future Students internationally, ultimately responsible for achieving international enrolment targets across all faculties.

This role is critical for the successful delivery and implementation of foundational marketing automation campaigns and segmentation in CRM and Adobe. The Digital Tech Specialist reports to the Digital Experience Manager and has no direct reports.

 

Who You Are:

• A relevant degree with extensive experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and experience.

• Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ideally MicrosoftDynamics or Salesforce.

•  Working knowledge of digital marketing automation tools (Click Dimensions, Adobe Campaign preferred),analytics (Adobe Analytics preferred), business performance reporting and visualisation (Power BI) other relevant tools.

• Sound commercial acumen and understanding of digital sales and marketing performance levers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

• Ability to apply judgement, creativity and flexibility to generate new optimisation approaches and to solve problems.

• Experience working in a large, complex fast-paced organisation where conversion of prospective student interest is critical.

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders as appropriate to ensure successful outcomes.

• Proven ability to lead a service delivery culture.

• An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.

• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
