Why Your Role Matters:

As Web & UX/UI Manager, you’ll be a key player in defining the strategy and lead the delivery of UNSW’s web presence, creating data-driven, accessible, and audience-centred digital experiences. This is a rare opportunity for a digital product leader with strong UX and design expertise to shape how the world experiences UNSW online.

  • Implement UNSW’s 2026 Web and UX/UI Roadmap, using Adobe Experience Cloud to drive connected, personalised user journeys.
  • Lead UX research and design initiatives to resolve customer pain points and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Manage digital enhancement projects end-to-end using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Partner across teams and agencies to deliver seamless, accessible, and scalable digital solutions.
  • Use analytics, data, and feedback to inform design and prioritisation decisions.
  • Oversee conversion rate optimisation and continuous improvement programs.
  • Foster capability growth and a community of practice in UX/UI across UNSW.

About You:

You’re a seasoned digital product and UX leader who thrives in complex environments and inspires teams to deliver exceptional experiences.

You’ll bring:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and deep experience managing digital products or websites in large organisations.
  • Around 15 years’ experience in product design or digital management, with at least 7 years leading teams.
  • Expertise in website UX design and research, with proficiency in Figma, web design systems, and accessibility best practice.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics.
  • Proven success delivering projects in Agile and Waterfall settings.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen with exposure to digital marketing, ecommerce or student recruitment.
