Associate Lecturer/Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology

  • Employment Type: Part - time (17.5 hours a week)
  • Duration: Fixed Term parental leave contract until 30th September 2025
  • Remuneration: $88K - $145K base prorated (+ 17% Superannuation and leave loading)
  • Visa: Full Australian working rights for the duration of the contract will be required
  • Location: Kensington campus, Sydney. 

Why this role matters  

This role will be responsible for the content development and delivery of exercise science and exercise physiology curricula in the School of Health Sciences Health Professional Programs. We are particularly interested in exercise physiologists with a background in exercise oncology and/or significant experience in work integrated learning

Some key skills required 

Level A 

  • A completed PhD in a related discipline (Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy).
  • Demonstrated experience in the sub-disciplinary area of exercise oncology.
  • Proven commitment to proactive maintenance of discipline knowledge and development.
  • Knowledge of educational technologies and online delivery methods.
  • Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Level B (in addition to the above)

  • Demonstrated experience with industry and work-integrated learning.
  • Experience in teaching and learning design, development and/or delivery of courses (subjects) and programs (degrees), at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
  • Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and impact with clear evidence of the desire and ability to achieve research excellence
