Clinical Campus Manager (St Vincent’s Campus)

  • Employment Type: Full - time (35 hours a week)
  • Duration: Continuing
  • Remuneration: From $110K base (+ 17% Super, leave loading)
  • Location: St Vincent's Clinical Campus, Sydney (Hybrid working style)

Why this role matters:

This position will be responsible for the overall operational management of St Vincent's Clinical Campus, including delegated financial management, human resources, physical resources, student support services and work health and safety.

This position will act as a change agent and contribute to the development and implementation of systems and processes, in collaboration with the Senior Manager and other Clinical Campus Managers, to ensure the aligned Clinical Campus is established as centre of operational excellence with a vibrant culture, aligned to the goals of Health25. The position will implement Faculty-wide policy, procedures and systems in line with UNSW direction. The role reports to the Senior Manager, School of Clinical Medicine and has direct reports.

Key skills required:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience, or extensive experience and management &/or specialist expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully supervising a team with proven ability to motivate and create a positive workplace culture in order to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrated operational management skills including proven ability to contribute to planning and priority setting within a process-driven administrative environment with variable workflows.
  • Demonstrated numeracy skills with the ability to understand and communicate financial information and monitor budgets
  • Proven skills and experience in resource planning, goal setting and project management.
  • Strong consultation, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in business improvement activities or leading change processes.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy, working with a range of computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office 365 suite including Teams, One Drive, Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and with using UNSW’s enterprise systems.
