Level 5 from $85,717

Level 6 from $96,960 + 17% super + annual leave loading

Why this role matters

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in delivering strategic initiatives and enhancing the student experience across UNSW Canberra. Working within the Student Life and Experience Portfolio, you will coordinate and support a range of projects, programs, and events that improve educational services and student engagement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a positive impact on student life.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and evaluating student-focused projects, services, and events across both UNSW Canberra campuses
  • Developing and managing communication campaigns, including newsletters, intranet, and website content
  • Analysing and reporting on data to inform improvements in student experience
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements across the portfolio
  • Ensuring compliance with university policies, including health and safety

 

About you

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in project coordination, student experience, or a related field
  • Bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage complex tasks and deliver accurate reporting and analysis
  • Be proficient in digital tools and systems (experience in higher education systems is desirable)
  • Have a proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for enhancing student outcomes

The successful candidate will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including verification of qualifications, criminal history, identification, and Australian work rights. Please note: Australian citizenship may be required due to the nature of the role and its engagement with Defence.
