Why Your Role Matters
The Manager, Education Support is an exciting role, leading the Learning and Teaching Group in the provision of educational development, design, innovation, insights, academic support and psychology and wellness services.
The role sits within the Student Life and Experience Portfolio and currently has up to 15 direct reports. The Manager is responsible for delivering strategic initiatives under the direction of the Head of Student Life and Experience, working closely with the Faculty Associate Dean (Education) and other key stakeholders.
Who You Are (skills and experience):
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- High level leadership, influencing and negotiation skills and proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
- Significant experience in developing, delivering and continually improving processes and systems, including project management and change management processes.
- Competency working with a range of information, technology and education systems in a tertiary setting including learning, student and people management systems.
- Extensive operational management skills including planning, priority setting, and staff management, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines using judgement and initiative.
