Venues & Events are specialists in delivering meetings and events for internal and external clients across a variety of venues, including the UNSW CBD Campus, John Niland Scientia Building, Clancy Auditorium, Science Theatre. Venues & Events coordinate and deliver the venue logistics and audio-visual support for meetings and events at UNSW.
Why Your Role Matters:
The audio-visual team are responsible for providing superior customer services and delivering AV services to internal and external clients. You will work on concerts, conferences, eisteddfods, gala dinners, video production and more as well as supporting core University activities on campus.
UNSW Venues & Events are committed to providing the best production services possible. Some of the AV equipment and software you will work with includes TriCaster and BlackMagic video switchers, Allen & Heath audio mixers, Sony 4K HDR cameras, Panasonic PTZ cameras, and Hog 4 lighting consoles.
You will be responsible for supporting event production and technical requirements for a broad range of events
Who You Are:
You have minimum 2 years’ experience working within the audio-visual industry, as well as:
- Operating Audio, Vision and Lighting live events.
- Delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Experience with live streaming virtual and hybrid events.
- Experience with NDI and Dante technologies.
- Camera operating experience desired but not essential.
