The Strategy Manager will collaborate closely with the unit leadership to develop and execute the unit´s strategy. They will work on a diverse range of projects across the business including pricing, market growth, product development, positioning and go-to-market, process improvement, operations, etc.
The role requires experience with commercial analysis and interrogating data from a variety of internal and external sources, to produce high quality insights and client ready strategy papers and reports that provide commercial recommendations to UNSW’s leadership teams. The position will work closely with a range of internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to data analysis, insight generation and reporting.
About You:
-
Tertiary degree in a related area, plus relevant experience in strategy or commercial consulting or business intelligence development in a commercial environment.

Advanced written and verbal communication skills and well-honed interpersonal skills with high-level of confidence interacting with a diverse set of stakeholders.

Knowledge of strategy frameworks and the ability to distil significant amounts of information into actionable commercial insight.

Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. A bias for action and a knack to learn new things. Ability to work flexibly and productively as an effective team member, ensuring deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard.

Demonstrated experience and sound working knowledge of business analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or others.
