This role will: 

• Provide general executive support and assistance.

• Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

• Undertake diary, email and document management and assist with the preparation of responses.

• Coordinate and plan meetings, including compiling agendas and documents, prepare minutes and following up on meeting tasks.

• Proactively provide executive support whilst exercising initiative, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.

• Exercise superior interpersonal communication skills for internal/external stakeholders, including when interpreting requests and correspondence to prioritise.

• Undertake relevant projects aligned with the Division/Faculty.

• Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.

• Process and reconcile expense claims and UNSW credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and compliance with University policies.

 

A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience: 

• Relevant qualifications with proven experience as an Executive Assistant

• Advanced level of Microsoft Office software and other applications/databases.

• Relevant qualifications and extensive Executive Assistant experience.

• Extensive communication skills including experience liaising with key internal and external stakeholders.
