Position Summary

Program Communication Coordinator (Level 6) provides support in planning and implementing marketing and communication activities for the UNSW Justice Inclusion Access (JEINA) program. JEINA is a university wide initiative supporting women from forced migration backgrounds in higher education and career development, while engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

 

This role will:

  • Design, develop, update, and maintain online and print marketing materials including brochures, presentations and electronic newsletters. Collaborate with UNSW Design and Print services or manage external vendors as required.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design and launch a website presence for JEINA and strategically evolve and deliver a superior digital experience.
  • Create social media channels and contents with the aim to promote key activities, initiatives and build reputation.
  • Coordinate events, including, developing, organising, and providing support for events, workshops and seminars.
  • Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.

 

A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Proven success in developing communication plans and campaigns.
  • Proven experience in content production and curation across most digital mediums including digital and print materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Proven experience in coordinating events.
  • Effective writing style and ability to deliver high-impact messaging to key audiences.
  • Advanced level of computer and online literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft 365 applications.
