The School of Engineering and Information Technology (SEIT) delivers research-informed education and research outputs in their globally recognised engineering and computing degrees, including electrical, mechanical, aeronautical, aviation, and civil engineering as well as information technology.
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Academic Support Officer to join the Administration Support Group. The Administration Support Group is a supportive and inclusive team that provides a wide range of administrative and operational services to the School.
Under the direction of the School Manager, the Academic Support Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure effective academic planning and administration of matters relating to course management.
You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently to prioritise tasks and manage one’s own time in order to meet deadlines. You have the ability to work effectively as a team player, support colleagues, and contribute to the improvement of administrative systems and procedures.
Role: Broadband Level 4/5
Salary: $ 70,920 – $87,532 plus 17% Superannuation
Term: Full Time, Continuing

- Demonstrated work experience in teaching and learning administration
- High level of organizational and communication skills
- The ability to meet strict deadlines and demonstrate high-level attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft 356
