The Opportunity

The Faculty of Engineering has an opportunity for an Industrial Training Advisor. You will be in a key role within the Engineering Industrial Team that ensures UNSW Engineering students gain professional work experience and are work ready upon graduation. As part of a dedicated team, you will contribute towards the coordination and administration of the Industrial Training Program that supports over 6,000 students per year.

The role of Industrial Training Administrator reports to the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Industrial Training Manager and has no direct reports.

  • Salary, Level 5/6: $77,356 to $96,613 per annum + 17% superannuation
  • Full time
  • Fixed term – Until December 2024
  • Location: Kensington – Sydney, Australia

Skills and Experience

Level 5

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to improving student/client experience and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and accurately communicate policies and procedures.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy, including word processing, data processing, and Microsoft Office tools, with a demonstrated ability to work across multiple software platforms such as Customer Relationship Management systems and Learning Management systems.
