About the role

The Contract Manager is the head of the Contract Management Unit and is responsible for the production of high quality contract documentation required under the AFDA performance agreement.

The position holder will:

  • Lead, influence and develop a contract governance, risk and assurance function.
  • Manage the identification, development and integration of contract plans, reporting obligations and governance and risk processes for operational planning, performance and compliance.
  • Support improved outcomes for the UNSW Canberra community through strong internal and external networks and relationships across key governance risk and performance initiatives.

About the successful applicant

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in the development and delivery of contract management, governance, risk and assurance activities in a complex environment. In addition, an applicant must possess strong leadership capability, analytical and planning skills and high-level communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
