About the role

Most commonly, casual/sessional teaching opportunities will be for the role of a course Tutor, who will be required to tutor classes for a course and mark student work, under the immediate supervision of a Course Convenor.

On occasion, there may be a casual/sessional opportunity for the role of a Course Convenor, who will be required to run the course, deliver course content, and finalise course results, under the immediate supervision of a Course Coordinator and the Program Convenor/Director.

The School of the Arts and Media will contact you to provide further information about any prospective role, if your EOI is accepted.

You will need:

  • Suitable academic and/or industry qualifications and experience
  • working rights in Australia.

We are recruiting casual/sessional teaching staff, and you will be considered if your skills, qualifications, and experience are suitable.

If there is no suitable opportunity immediately available, your EOI will be retained for subsequent consideration with subsequent teaching Terms.

The EOI portal will allow you to submit your CV, outlining your qualifications and experience, and to nominate which courses you would like to teach—so we can assess your suitability and potentially meet your need for flexibility.
