As Manager, Compliance & Quality Assurance, you’ll play a key role in guiding UNSW’s Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) compliance strategy, providing expert advice and driving process improvements across the University. Acting as the primary contact for TEQSA and Educational Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) related matters, you’ll prepare reports and advice for both internal stakeholders and external regulators. You’ll also manage complex enquiries on policies, regulations, quality assurance, transnational and third-party arrangements, while supporting policy development to ensure alignment with UNSW’s objectives.
Reporting to the Director, Academic Quality & Regulatory Affairs, you’ll collaborate with colleagues in the Office of the DVC Academic Quality, and partner with all divisions and faculties across the University.

Who you are
You hold a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in quality assurance and/or compliance within the higher education sector. You have a proven ability to interpret and advise on legislative requirements, supported by strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
You also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing board papers with accuracy and detail. You’re collaborative and skilled at building effective relationships across diverse teams, while demonstrating initiative and sound judgment in identifying and escalating issues when needed. Importantly, you’re also committed to UNSW’s values, objectives, and policies, including health and safety responsibilities.
