Why Your Role Matters:
For the first time ever, UNSW Finance is launching its Graduate Program, and we’re looking for three talented UNSW graduates to join us on this exciting new journey.
This is a unique opportunity to kickstart your finance career at one of Australia’s leading universities and play a key role in supporting the financial excellence that drives innovation, research, and education across UNSW.
Over 18 months, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of finance functions, supported by a network of mentors, leaders, and peers who will help you grow your professional skills and confidence. The program is designed to give you a strong foundation in financial management and equip you with the tools to build a long-term career in finance.
You’ll rotate across key UNSW Finance teams, including:
- Finance Business Partnering
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Operational Finance
- Financial Control and Compliance
Throughout your rotations, you’ll gain valuable experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, data analysis, and process improvement, while contributing to real projects that make a difference to the way UNSW manages its resources and achieves its goals.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking passionate, motivated, and curious individuals ready to learn and grow.
To be eligible, you must:
- Have graduated from UNSW within the past three years
- Hold a degree in a relevant discipline - finance, accounting, or a related field is highly desirable
- Be ready to take initiative, work collaboratively, and bring a positive, solutions-focused attitude
You’ll also bring:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- High attention to detail and confidence with data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial systems
