Remuneration: Academic Level A $91,381 per annum+ 17% super + Annual Leave Loading

Location: Kensington, New South Wales

Why this role matters:

The Research Associate/Pre-Doctoral Fellow (Level A) will contribute to the research activities of the Manos Institute for Cognitive Economics at UNSW Business School. The role involves undertaking defined research projects, contributing to high-quality scholarly outputs, and supporting the dissemination of research outcomes through publications, presentations, and engagement with relevant academic communities.

The position provides an opportunity to develop research expertise, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the Institute’s mission of advancing research in cognitive economics.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • An undergraduate degree in economics or computer science.
  • Full Academic Transcript required.
  • Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
  • Evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
