The National Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability Health is part of the faculty of Medicine and Health at UNSW.

The Centre is based at the UNSW Sydney campus in Kensington, NSW.

Lived Experience Inclusion Advisors help make sure the Centre is doing a good job at inclusion.

Some of the things Lived Experience Inclusion Advisors will do include:
- Share their experiences to help shape the work being done at the Centre (only experiences people want to share)
- Work together with different teams on Centre projects and strategies
- Test documents and resources
- Testing means talking about the things that make sense, the things that might be confusing, things that are clear and things that are unclear
- Be involved in interviews to help choose the right people to work at the Centre

- Being passionate about inclusion and improving healthcare for people with intellectual disability
- Being confident to ask questions, share ideas, and discuss issues
- Being able to work in a team
- Being able to use a computer, or being interested in learning to use a computer
Lived Experience Inclusion Advisors are people with intellectual disability.
You need a NSW Working with Children Check for this job.
We would like you to work 17.5 hours each week. You can talk to us about the days and times you might like to work.
This job ends on 30 June 2026.
The hourly rate for this job is $45.50.
- An hourly rate is how much a person is paid for every hour they work.
The Superannuation contribution for this job is 17%.
