Why Your Role Matters:

Working within the Production Services teams, IT Infrastructure Associates play a crucial role for providing support and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure services. You will be part of supporting various IT infrastructure projects. All training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activation and testing of critical infrastructure services.

• Participating in critical infrastructure upgrades and other maintenance tasks.

• Assist in restoring critical infrastructure services and systems.

• Undertaking 1st level problem diagnosis, correction and escalated support of relevant technologies across the organisation according to assigned priorities and timeframes.

• Create and maintain critical infrastructure services documentation according to standards.

• Upgrade, clean, audit and maintain critical infrastructure locations.

• Provide assistance across various UNSW IT Projects.

• Cooperating with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and taking all reasonable care to ensure that any actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of others in the university.

• Ensuring adherence to IT policies, processes, standards and architecture principles in completing work.

• Completing requests and resolving incidents in accordance with defined service levels and processes.

• Align with and actively demonstrate the UNSW Values in Action: Our Behaviours and the UNSW Code of Conduct.

• Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
