 Why your Role Matters
As Executive Governance Officer, you will play an integral role across Human Resources and Employee Relations projects to provide high level operational, executive and governance support all compliance work streams.

As a strong communicator, you will bring your practiced negotiation and relationship building skills to support activities and initiatives across pay confidence compliance projects that ensure deliverables and accurate governance reporting.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide high level executive support and advice to the Program Lead and the Program Leadership Team.
  • Proactively advise, influence, and contribute to the strategy, planning and objectives.
  • Draft and coordinate papers, reports, briefings and proposals.
  • Support project finance administration, reporting, overseeing budgets and forecasting.
  • Provide advice on appropriate governance structures and policy to support effective decision making.
  • Proactively monitor, document and report on the progress of any governance related activities

Who you are:  We’re looking for a critical thinker comfortable working with senior stakeholders across the University, alongside:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and subsequent relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success designing and delivering strategies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Proven skills and experience in strategic and resource planning, goal setting and project management.
  • Excellent consultation, influencing and negotiation skills and proven ability to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Practised report writing skills with ability to tailor reporting to the required audience.
  • Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
