Hospitality are specialists in delivering meetings and events for internal and external clients across a variety of venues, including the UNSW CBD Campus, John Niland Scientia Building, Clancy Auditorium, Science Theatre, and the brand-new state-of-the-art UNSW Streaming Studio. Hospitality coordinate and deliver the venue logistics and audio-visual support for meetings and events. We also work closely with the contracted caterers to ensure a consistent quality hospitality experience.

 

Why Your Role Matters:

The Venue’s team are responsible for providing superior customer service & guest experience to internal and external clients. We support our clients with a variety of activities including; concerts, conferences, gala dinners and core University activities on campus. You will be a part of a team that is responsible for ensuring a high standards of venue presentation and customer service.

You will be the face of the business, responsible for meeting and greeting clients at events, onsite operations and ensuring our venues are set up correctly as per client requirements.

 

Who You Are:

You have experience working within the venues, hotels, events or audio-visual industry, as well as:

  • High level of customer service and operational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and follow instructions
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Experience in Hospitality, Venues or Events operations
  • Availability to work weekends and outside of normal business hours
