UNSW Canberra Space is looking for a talented person to join our high-performance team culture as the “conductor of the orchestra” in the Australian National Concurrent Design Facility, which we operate as a national asset on the UNSW Canberra campus.
With this facility, and in collaboration with the end user, we are able to rapidly assess the technical, programmatic and financial/commercial feasibility of candidate space mission concepts in order to provide early-stage input to their planning and development. The facility has become a key national asset to encourage and foster collaboration and the adoption of high quality professional approaches to space engineering, thereby helping the growing Australian space capability grow and mature. In the past two years, UNSW Canberra Space has completed major studies in the facility for a number of government and other organisations.
About the Role:
Role: Space Systems Engineer – Concurrent Design Facility Manager
Salary: Broadband Level 7/8
Level 7 $98,354 - $ 106,449pa plus 17% Superannuation
Level 8 $ 109,944 - $123,876pa plus 17% Superannuation
Term: Full-Time, Fixed-Term, 24 months
