The Lifestyle Clinic is an initiative of UNSW Medicine. It is a multi‑disciplinary and multi‑practice facility, which provides quality services in lifestyle assessment and lifestyle change programs, as well as exercise rehabilitation. The clinic also provides a platform for learning, teaching and research activities.

About the role

  • $66, 816 - $70, 483 (plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
  • Fixed Term contract - 3 years with possible extension 
  • Full-time - 35 hours per week
  • Job-sharing arrangements also considered

The UNSW Medicine Lifestyle Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic, well organised and self-motivated Administrative Assistant to join its team. This position will provide administrative support to ensure the clinic’s reception area operates effectively and the clinic environment is highly functional and well maintained

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess the relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Secretarial or Administrative training at College or TAFE) or equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience;
  • Demonstrate experience in delivery of quality, professional, customer focussed services to internal and external clients.
  • Well-developed administrative skills which include proven advanced computing experience including Microsoft office suite (particularly Excel databases and spreadsheets), email and internet packages.

The incumbent will:

  • Operate an efficient and well-maintained reception area.
  • Ensure all stakeholder interactions (eg clients, medical/health practitioners) are dealt with the highest professional standards.
    • Ensure client particulars are managed in accordance with the:
      • University of New South Wales Privacy and Personal Information Policy
      • Commonwealth Government of Australia Privacy Act (1988).
  • Provide high quality administrative assistance to all clinic staff.
  • Be an effective part of the Lifestyle Clinic team.
